The journey
April 2026
The first idea
Founders Nathiya and Meghna watch sacred garlands discarded after worship and can't unsee it. Their first thought: turn the flowers into soaps, so the divine blessing in every petal could touch the person who uses it. They start asking temple boards one question: can we take your flowers?
Mid 2026
From soap to smoke
The idea evolves. Incense lets a flower's second life fill a whole room — the same divine presence, carried further. Thuya takes shape: an office in Nungambakkam, Chennai, and workshops in Chennai, Coimbatore, and Tiruchengode.

Are the flowers really from temples?
Yes — every batch is logged against a partner temple and collection date. Scan the QR on your box to see its origin.
Is the incense chemical-free?
Completely. No charcoal accelerants, no synthetic binders, no dipped perfumes. Petal powder, resins, essential oils, tree gum.
Do you ship internationally?
We ship worldwide from Chennai. Orders over ₹999 ship free within India; international rates calculated at checkout.
What is seed paper?
Our packaging is embedded with marigold seeds. Soak it, plant it, and the box that carried your incense grows next season's flowers.
